There is no stopping Featonby’s Auctioneers and Valuers progressing onwards and upwards since the business was acquired in 2017 by Mark Lane.
The well known and loved auction house has stood strong over time and, more recently, has gone from strength to strength which has triggered it’s next new and exciting chapter.
Along with business partner David Haley, father and daughter team Mark and Casey Lane joined forces and have injected huge amounts of passion, enthusiasm and innovation into the business, which will reach it’s 100 year anniversary in two years time.
“What we have achieved has gone way beyond my expectations”
Mark tells us;
“My vision was to bring Featonby’s forward significantly over the last few years and what we have achieved has gone way beyond my expectations.
We have now established ourselves as serious players in the auctioneer market and are attracting stunning items across a range of categories including classic cars, fine art and sort after watches and jewellery.
To celebrate our amazing success and to take us forward we have launched our new branding which is both sensitive to the history of Featonby’s and also firmly states our positioning in the next chapter.”
“The new branding carves out where we are and the direction we are going in for the future.”
The business has gone from strength to strength despite the pandemic.
“In response to COVID-19 we stream our weekly auctions online which allows our customers to be able to bid live online as they would if they came into the auction house.
Due to the vision, hard work and commitment from the Featonby’s team we have enjoyed a significant growth in our sales and customer base.
The new branding carves out where we are and the direction we are going in for the future.”
“We moved onto a larger site early in 2020 and invested in a stunning refurbishment, so when we can open the doors to the public, they will get to experience a vibrant and buzzing atmosphere.
We have also launched a specialist sale event on the last Sunday of every month which features items which are of higher value and rare to the market.
This is certainly a very exciting time for Featonby’s.”
